What is the function of the Moodle Glossary?

Instructors might use the Glossary to create:

- a collection of images or videos
- an organized list of videos or links related to specific topics
Instructors might assign students to create entries for:
- a collection of personal profiles
- a class study guide for an exam
- an encyclopedia of course related topics
- peer review
Based on activity settings, students can comment on each others entries, and entries can be edited.
An instructor can export entries from one course and import them into another, allowing the development of a larger collection over multiple semesters.
