How can I use the Wiki activity in Moodle for Student Collaboration?

Answer

The Wiki activity in Moodle allows you and your students to create a collection of collaboratively authored web pages. Basically, a wiki page is a web page everyone in your class can create together, right in the browser, without needing to know HTML. The instructor does the initial set up of the Wiki, and then students can access the page as editors to add and update content. Instructors and students have the ability to add new pages to the Wiki by creating a link to a page that doesn't exist yet.

Instructors can view a history of page edits with a record of who made changes the Wiki content, making the Wiki a great tool for tracking student contributions to group work.
